ORF-Enterprise takes advantage of ORF, being this year’s host of World Congress of Science and Factual Producers

Over 700 delegates from international broadcasting corporations as ZDF, BBC, ARTE, ABC, National Geographic, Discovery Channel, NHK, MDR, NRD, France Television, PBS, RAI and independent producers from all over the world attended the 23rd edition of World Congress of Science and Factual Producers at Austria’s capital city Vienna, from the 1st to the 4th of December.

ORF’s rewarded strand UNIVERSUM could impress with its new roster of Ultra HD 4K wildlife and nature productions and UNIVERSUM History’s high-grade documentaries.

The sales team of ORF-Enterprise, together with UNIVERSUM’s editors could strengthen its international client network of TV- and media experts and secure many promising international coproduction partnerships.

Moreover, Nat Geo International picked the rights of the ORF Universum highlight “Making an Ancient Forest – Kalkalpen National Park”, awarded with the Golden Dolphin 2015, Kamera Alpin in Gold 2015 and Golden Panda Award 2015, as well as the latest spectacular Universum documentary “Dolomites – In The Heroe’s Garden”.

WNET selected “Making an Ancient Forest – Kalkalpen National Park” for US-broadcast.

A diverse package of most stunning wildlife documentaries with “Wild Venice” in Ultra HD 4K, “Return of the Hoopoe” (Best Director Award 2013), and the enchanting “A Tiger Called Broken Tail” has been sold to SRC (Canada).

The historical drama “Lost City of the Gladiators” will soon be on air at ZDF in Germany.
