Tatort - Absolute Discretion

Tatort - Absolute Diskretion

The happy-go-lucky Roman Kraus has paid a girl companion for the evening. While they change partners with the prominent couple Peter and Helene Pollak, Kraus 's wife, the well known pharmaceuticals researcher Eva Kraus-Lauterfeld, is murdered and a valuable scientific discovery is stolen. All of the evidence secured at the scene of the crime points to Roman Kraus as the murderer. The only thing that frees him of suspicion is an alibi for the night in question. But the couple involved denies everything because they are afraid of a scandal - Peter Pollak is a respected doctor and politician. Chief of Police Eisner believes Kraus is innocent anyway. But when his attempts to get the proof that is needed and to find the true murderer are hindered "from high places," Eisner looks for another path. He turns to drastic measures.
