O Holy Night!

Du Heilige Nacht!

Christmas has been cancelled - at least for Sarah. After a long period of separation from her husband, the policeman Gustl, she finally feels strong enough to move out of the flat they share. However Sarah doesn't earn enough money from her work in a call centre and so decides to take another job as a Christmas tour guide in Salzburg, much to the displeasure of Gustl, her son James and grandad Willi, who will have to do with out her traditional Christmas delicacies. Alternatives obviously have to be found - but that proves easier said than done. While Sarah tries to strike a balance between her two jobs, Gustl hatches a new plan for Christmas, involving his police colleagues and his new lover. The rest of the family tries frantically to make alternative festive arrangements - with chaotic outcomes. To make matters worse, Sarah also receives unwelcomed guests. As Sarah however begins to cook not to spend Christmas alone, nothing remains as originally planned in this turbulent Christmas spectacular.
