Location Vienna: 6 boys and 5 girls, aged from 14 to 17, are searching for their place in the world. The fact that they are from foreign backgrounds, or that their families have chosen to live in Austria, doesn't make the matter any easier. Vienna is their home, and when they have problems at school, with their parents, or in their first relationships, it's the group, or the various friendships within it, that give them support. Self confident and cool, they strut around the city like they own it but still occasionally fall flat on their faces. Most of all, they dream of getting a big break by competing in a breakdance competition and winning. Before they can enter a competition however they need a name - and one is quickly found: «minority:rulez». It's bound to get loud and tumultuous when the film's multilingual, amateur actors cut loose. The only question that remains is: who'll be king of the dancefloor?
